We believe AI should help people do more, safely, in work that affects real lives.
Public services, humanitarian organisations, and civic institutions are being asked to serve more people with fewer resources and higher expectations. At the same time, AI is entering these systems quickly, often without enough care for how work actually happens or what happens when things go wrong.
Mission AI exists to make sure this shift leads to better services, not new risks. We build and support AI systems for health, migration, social protection, justice, and development, designed around the people who use them and the communities they serve.
We are working toward a future where AI helps public and social systems serve people better, widens access to essential services, and gives organisations the capacity to meet growing needs without losing what makes their work human.
That is the future we are building.
Our Story
Mission AI started with a clear realization: After more than twenty-five years working inside NGOs and public systems, we had seen how much dedication and intelligence exists in these organisations, and how often it gets swallowed by slow processes, fragmented tools, and constant pressure to do more with less. People were working hard. The results did not always match the effort.
When AI started to move quickly into these spaces, it was clear it could change this. Not by replacing people, but by giving them better tools to reach more people, make clearer decisions, and spend less time fighting their own systems.
Mission AI was created to turn that possibility into something practical.
We shifted from advising to building. From working around broken systems to designing new ones. From small improvements to solutions that could actually change how services are delivered.
Today, Mission AI operates as an incubator, developing AI initiatives that sit at the intersection of technology and the public good. Our focus is simple: helping organisations reach more people, more clearly, and with greater impact.
Mission AI brings together senior professionals across AI engineering, product design, and social-impact delivery.
Our team includes frontend and backend engineers, UX and product designers, AI and automation specialists, and leadership with experience in large-scale technology environments, including Google, alongside decades of experience in NGOs and public institutions.
This combination allows us to design and build AI initiatives that are technically robust, usable in real-world settings, and grounded in the realities of social and public systems.
